I need opinions..

Please look at this... Something kinda goofy... or this one

I would like opinions. How stupid it would it be. Consider I'd have to learn to drive, so it would get beat to all hell anyway. I'd also have to get it home. And last but never least, I owe people money. As well as have a few obligations.

Should I get it and would anyone be able/willing to help me fix it up?

Have I mentioned I really really really really want a motorcycle?

Ok, you want opinions:

Bike #1, not only "no" but "hell no"! Twenty-six years and only 10,000 but it is in "fair" condition and may need some carb work? I would not even consider this one without actually hearing it run under weight. It is also only a 750cc - not nearly enough bike for you.

Bike #2 is only a 400cc. You have, um, personal applicances with more horsepower. Seriously.

All that aside, just about everyone who knows you knows you really want a motorcycle. Before you start worrying about whether you should buy one given what other responsibilities you have, you should go to dealer and rallys and get a feel for the type of bike you really want.
