I found the pin.

Ten years ago a very very dear friend gave me a pin. Well not so much gave it to me as pinned it to me while I slept on the hotel lobby floor. Since then, every convention I have gone to, I have had that pin. Much of security staff at MFF last year witnessed the near hysterics (I wish I were joking) when I thought I'd forgotten the pin at home. Alas, I did happen to have it and all was good. In packing for this weekends Anthrocon I did not know where the jewelry case in which it is stored was, until just now when I found it. All will be good.

Here's to you, my dear friend, you know who you are.

I'm sorry I have not been able to see you wearing the pin in person lately. Convention has become a luxury that is getting more and more difficult to afford. Hopefully MFF will be a reachable goal this year. *snugs*
