My brother, having taken a year or so of Mandarin Chinese courses, keeps saying things are (and I'm spelling phonetically, obviously) "Bu-shi" It's even more amusing if you know that it means "shoe".
And, since I now realize that that probably makes no sense whatsoever without the explanation being audible, the reason this is so highly amusing is that the way he says it makes it sound like "bullshit".
For instance: "I have to take the dog out again? That's bushi!"
