All I have to say is...I can't believe I never fucking saw the stage production.
Fantastic fucking show. The movie was incredible and I'm sure the stage production is as well. It was profound and beautiful and well, it was a musical so I was bound to like it.
And if you haven't figured it out by now, I saw Rent today. I LOVED it and it will be mine. The soundtrack already is. :)
Now sleep, for I have to work tomorrow.

Date: 2005-11-27 08:10 pm (UTC)Was also very pleasantly surprised by Jessle L. Martin. I didn't think he would have such a beautiful voice, and it was fun to see "Detective Ed Green" kissing another man :)
The cast was wonderful, and completely believable. The coreography rocked, especially on Santa Fe in the train car, and La Vie Boheme in the cafe. Definitely one to watch (and listen to) over and over again.
