I just got an email from Torrid.com, a new store opened near me. In Vernon Hills.

Had I gotten this email a year ago, I'd be running there cash in hand. However, I'm not. Not since they turned into a yuppie spawn hell with pinks and whites. Not a mini skirt of sauce or naughtiness. Not a shirt of goth or babe doll. Not a dress of fun or raunchness. None can be found there.

Instead you are greeted with pinks and whites. Fads styles and fad cuts. A fat girls trendy club clothes haven.

Torrid, you can stick it up your pretty pink colored hole.

Ya know, I would probably be a lot more upset if they had ever had anything that actually fit me. Everything was proportioned so badly that I wasn't willing to pay money for it. When will clothing designers figure out that if you are wearing a size 3x shirt, your upper arms probably measure more than 11 inches.

and there really is such a thing as fat *and* tall.

I've not really had that problem. Especially being tall. :)

It was probably one of the few places where I could buy pants that weren't too tall or too short on me. i loved it.
