this isn't good. Not only do I not have the time to go to the doctor, I really dont have the money. And I really really don't have the time to be sick right now.

anyone know of a cheap, quick, relatively easy way to beat a sinus infection? The kind with the sore throat cause your sinus' are dripping on it?

Thanks. I go die now. But i have to do it at work.

I have a couple of suggestions, but you really aren't going to like them, but I can guarantee if you do it then you're sinus infection will clear up and you'll feel better.

First of all herbal teas. Lots of them. Peppermint is particularly good. Use honey instead of sugar to sweeten it. Secondly, it's an infection. Your bodies best defense against infection is a fever so you want to raise your body temp. Take a glass of shock tea (1 8oz glass of cold water, 2 tsp honey or to taste, 1-3tsp lemon juice to taste, 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper-do not use the 90 heat but 40 heat will do just as well w/o killing you off.) You can use more cayenne or hotter than 40. The hotter it is, the better chance of having it drain your sinuses is better though. And DONT drink this on an empty stomach, it can cause cramping and make you vomit. Not pleasant having it burn a second time as it comes up. As soon as you down the shock tea get into a really hot steamy shower. Rule #1 in home medicating Moist heat heals, Dry heat kills. Your lungs and mucas membranes are moist naturally. Drying them out with dry heat will cause bigger problems. So steamy showers, hot water humidifiers. Once you are out of the shower keep warm! Wrap up and crawl in bed.
Someone said garlic. Yes, garlic is a natural antibiotic. (but it has to be raw, if you cook the garlic you kill much of it's sickness fighting power) Take several cloves of garlic and crush them. Put a layer of patrolium jelly on the bottom of your feet then put the crushed garlic on the bottom of your feet. Wrap them in gauze and then put on a pair of old but clean white socks. Go to sleep. The reason you have to put patrolium jelly on your feet first, is if you put the garlic straight on the skin it will burn your skin if left for very long.
OR you can call around to health food stores and see if anyone sells a bottle of garlic oil. Rub that on your feet, put on a pair of old white socks (white b/c the feet have more obsorbsion into the body and a pair of colored socks could cause the body to obsorb the colorant while doing this process.)and go to bed. Repeat rubbing the garlic on the feet in the morning again.
