You know, I noticed while packing for MFF that I needed to put away my clothes. While in process of doing that I have managed to do some straightening up of my closet too. Guess what? I found I have Associated Student Bodies 7 and 8. So I guess I have the whole set and didn't even remember getting them. :P Good thing I didn't do something stupid like spend wade loads of money on something I already have. Know what else I found out? I have WAY to freakin many Mary Hansen-Roberts art pieces. Plus I found some others that I didn't remember getting, like a large print of a Dark Natasha, the one of the large blank Panther. Mrrr. :9 Ok, gonna stop for a cig break (yeah yeah yeah, I know I should quit) and back to cleaning. If I keep this up I may actually have a bedroom floor this weekend too!

*grins* Oh, I'm sure I could. :) We'll see, I got it for a reason. Biggest problem with almost all my art is it needs to be framed. Does anyone know if there are any framing places that do gift cards? That could be a cheap and easy xmas present for me, for those who feel the need to buy me something. ;)

If you nail one of those, hon, send word along. I've got several pieces, like a couple of Ashryns, that need good frames at unusual sizes.

Not to mention, walking into Hobby Lobby with some of my collectio would give the seniors running that shack cardiac arrest. I can just imagine the chaos.

...maybe I should do that after all.

Well the odd shaped art is mostly my problem too. I love MHR art and she mates everything, but they are almost ALL different sizes. Very few are the same size, let alone close in size. I'm not horribly creative, so I know I'm gonna get all the same frames and it's gonna look tacky, but they'll be framed and up :)

Go for cardiac arrest, I don't imagine you get much excitment in Missouri. :)

Oh, come now. The last thing I need is a criminal record.

I can see it now: 'young male, white, arrested for deliberate murder of one dozen senior citizen employees at local Hobby Lobby. Suspect presented victims with items identified as 'animal pornography' for custom framing, at which time each victim keeled over and died, clutching their hearts and screaming to God in heaven.'

...that still sounds like fun. I could always take my Lonnie DiNello piece up there. But not the StickDevil or Ashryns.

Mmmmm....

Hurray for black panther art, especially by Dark Natasha!

You may want to talk to Dick Blick. They were REALLY inexpensive for custom matting when we were there before MFF.

Oh- and we found a shop in Libertyville that carries the exotic camels. :)

Well, most of them are matted. it's the framing I need done. :)

And ooooh. :9

They do framing as well- just mentioned the matting because they were surprisingly low with that, may be reasonable with framing as well. ;)

Hmmmm

I'll have to check that out myself. I generally go to Michael's (crafts store, there's one across from Hawthorne mall). I like their work, but I'd like to find someplace cheaper.

I have so freakin many pieces of art to frame, any framing place could get rich off of me. :P Hence, very little 'furry' art on my walls. If it wasn't given to me framed (Or a Brent Spiner autographed picture) I haven't framed it. :)
