I have a job and I shouldn't complain...but I fucking have to work today. Damn this sucks. I haven't worked day after Thanksgiving in like 6 years.

Yeah, I'm a little bitter.

I usually don't mind my retail job, but today was just ridiculous. The day after Thanksgiving sales seem to bring out the worst in people. I had to deal with more rude, pushy, obnoxious people today than in the last 4 months total. Adding insult to injury is the fact that we'll have to try to sell a lot of it a second time when vast numbers of layaways expire in two weeks. I don't know why they allow layaway for special sale merchandise. At least I'll get off early since I had to go in early this morning.

Yeah, I have to work today, too, just like last year and probably next year. But I guess I don't mind too much because my superviser isn't here (because she's high up enough to get the day off). I wouldn't enjoy shopping today anyway. Thank god I'm not working retail.
