datahawkI just think that had to be said. I love her. She IS a goddess and has been to me since she first hit the scene 15 years ago. I remember back in the day (ya, leave me alone) when Jukebox TV (how many of YOU remember that?) was on the air and they ALWAYS played her video. Everyone wanted to see it, and I was included. A Big Beautiful Woman who was rockin it and Ladies First was my favorite song. Anybody who has seen her, EVER, knows she is awesome and down right gorgeous. I'm a little disappointed that she has lost some wait and had a breast reduction. However, I just learned it was a reduction from a E size to a DD. O.O I can see why you would want to reduce those. The point of this? I don't have one. I just finished watching Bringing down the house and felt the need to share my respect for the Queen.

Date: 2003-10-17 11:47 pm (UTC)I agree totally. I think Queen Latifah is the first celebrity that confirmed my love for larger women. She's confident, doesn't take shit from anyone and is just a beautiful person, inside and out, not to mention damn talented.
I would probably pay more attention to mainstream media if more "normal" people popped up in it.
And she's gonna be in Scary Movie 3, BTW. :)
