Hmm

Woot keeps having really nice deals on digital cameras. Today's no exception. I have, or have access to one I don't remember if Posi has it or not, an ok digital camera. I think it's three megapixels. It has no optical zoom at all and really isn't any better then a cheap 35mm. I'd like a digital for everyday type pics, but what I really want is something with a bit more balls. 10x optical, the chance for changing lens'. There have been some night Fujifilm camera's that have caught my eye.

Oh well. I realize this is all a pipe dream. Just felt like rambling since I saw that really nice camera on woot.

I'm tired.

dont get to worked up over the camera on woot. I read the lackluster reviews on amazon and the camera is really nothing to write home about. I dont know if you are familiar with it but check out a page called bensbargains. He usually lists a good deal of cameras on there. Especially when its time for the new models to hit. Dell.com usually has some killer deals on kodak's and canons

oh, it isn't so much the specific camera on woot that I get a woody for. But every time there is a camera on there, it makes me remember how much I'd really like a new camera. That's all really.

Woot keeps listing a brand of camera from a company that no longer makes cameras. I'm not quite sure what that means in the long run, but it's not something I would trust.

For an 'everyday' camera though, I adore my lil canon powershot. While canon has made improvements on what I bought.. it's still got many many years of life before I'd consider needing an upgrade.

yeah and I have an old Kodak, it was a nice camera at the time. It was a christmas present from the inlaws. It was darn nice for what it was at the time. But you can tell how old it is now. Honestly, I'm surprised it's lasted this long. But I would love to have a nice everyday camera that I can take to con and parties. Nice little thing. I'd rather not have to lug a big camera to con, concerts and hockey is one thing, but not to regular 'everything' things. I miss having pictures of my own of things and stuff at con and parties. Instead, i have to rely on what others have or send. :P
