Snow day!

My supervisor told me to not even bother working from home today, since it's the first day of the month. There are reports that have to be run before anything can be done and I don't think she wanted to admit she didn't know when she'd get into the office. I don't imagine many people are going to be there.

My manager is stuck in Oklahoma.

Took unclevlad, crim_ferret and myself about 1 1/2 hours to shovel the drive and a path back to emrldgirrl's door. We only have a half done eggs and I'm out of smokes, I'm considering going out in this. But I'm cracked like that. :D

I was nervous about heading out... But the roads in Chicago are clear and the traffic's light! I guess those that could, took public transit today.

I ended up having to take Kyttin and Jazzy to work and it wasn't horrible. I'm guess, especially since it's friday, most people just plain skipped working. out here especially, since ALL the schools are closed here. Even the catholic ones.
