Snow day!

My supervisor told me to not even bother working from home today, since it's the first day of the month. There are reports that have to be run before anything can be done and I don't think she wanted to admit she didn't know when she'd get into the office. I don't imagine many people are going to be there.

My manager is stuck in Oklahoma.

Took [livejournal.com profile] unclevlad, [livejournal.com profile] crim_ferret and myself about 1 1/2 hours to shovel the drive and a path back to [livejournal.com profile] emrldgirrl's door. We only have a half done eggs and I'm out of smokes, I'm considering going out in this. But I'm cracked like that. :D

SNOW DAY!

Not having suffered through the 8 to 12 to however many inches you midwesterners get, I found that going for bad food and smokes on Snow Days the most fun ever, assuming they were within walking distance or I had a car that could navigate the inch or two of snow we usually get down south.

Why do y'all live up there? :)

I was nervous about heading out... But the roads in Chicago are clear and the traffic's light! I guess those that could, took public transit today.

You suck. All we have is stupid rain. 10 degrees colder and we'd have LOTS of snow, but NOOOOOOOOO.. it's got to be 33 degrees.

Dumb New York.
