Disaster!

Nope, nothing of a big deal. I was just sitting here clearing through some TiVo when I came upon an episode of TNG from 91. The title is 'Disaster'. I didn't think anything of it from it's description, it sounded like it was a Troi episode. Sure, I'll bite.

30 seconds in Troi introduces 3 kids that had won a science fair. OH MY GAWD!!! This is the episode that hooked me on TNG. No it doesn't have a big Data influence. And I know of all the episodes it isn't the greatest, but something about it stuck with me. And I never knew the name of it either.

It was the tribble stuck to Picard's back at the end.
Thats what did it. :)

hehe, thats the episode where Dr Crusher gets LaForge to sing in the cargo bay :P

Yeah, I'm a Star Trek TNG junkie thanks to my mother :P

Yup, that would be the one.

My mom was too. She was actually watching it before I was.

Well congratulations on finding the long-lost episode which started it all. :c)

Which funny, considering it's Data that I have the obsession with now. Picard was really the one who dragged me in.

I can completely understand that. Patrick Stewart is one of those actors who I will watch something, simply because he's in it. (I was thoroughly amused to find he's one of the voices in American Dad.)

Hey, I know from obsession.

TNG was just awesome. <geek>I built a Heathkit surround sound system and it was one of the first shows in Dolby Surround!</geek>

It ranks very high in my Star Trek world, probably in the order TNG, TOS, DS9, Voyager, and I hardly ever watched Enterprise.

I haven't seen any of 'em in a while, but if the kids put it on, it'll make me sit and watch.

Spike TV shows two episodes a day M-T, 4 on F. Thank gawd for TiVo. And I'd have to agree with your order, tho I think on most days I enjoyed DS9 more then TOS. Never cared for Voyager and Enterprise only got me for 3 episodes, any guesses who was in them?
