Sleep is for the weak
Aug. 9th, 2005 07:43 amWhen we last left our hero, she was having her last dinner in Scotland...
I got up when Sally announced breakfast, got my tray and decided to head out to the stoop for a cig. I then got to watch one of the neatest flurries of people trying to get to the airport. It was, of course, the rest of my group trying to head out to Amsterdam. After everyone cleared out I headed back inside to make sure Devin and Rob where up. We headed to the train station from Sally's between 10:30 & 11. We've been on the road off and on since. I'll post more when I am not on a nightmare of a keyboard.
I have been up for what is pretty close to 24 hours. I'm really not complaining, just a statment of fact. We are currently sitting in a McDonalds. Honestly the only reason for that is that fact it appears to be the only thing, other then the train station, that is open in Bath. I did see several net cafes so I hope to get more quality time later and maybe a real post.
We are currently killing time waiting for our B&B to 'open'. They pretty much told us not to come back til 10. At that point, we may just dump our bags in our room and head back out. We'll see what happens.
Tomorrow starts the London leg of the trip and the meeting up with the 'naughty' crowd. :)
