Interesting

So, I found out that Semagic actually loads without the internet (something my old version didn't do, there may have been a setting but I never found it). I also found out that, unlike the old version, it'll lose all data you entered when you exit to log in. Two paragraphs. Luckily it wasn't anything important. Unfortunately I have a writers hand, once I've written it once it's gone. I can never remember what I wrote again.

Anyway, the reason for this post (take 2). Maybe now I can keep this bloody thing updated. The purpose of having this damn thing is to keep a journal of my life and adventures. I never do, cause I'm never home, always busy off on the adventures I never write about.

Things I know I've missed:
NYE, Christmas 2004, MFF 2004, AC 2004, many a visit from Takaza (and Duncan, before he lived here), many hockey games, nights at the bar, concerts, friendly meetings with those that I ride the train and shuttle to work with, getting my neat new leather trench, I'm sure I've missed friends birthdays, fights, feelings, moods. And I'm sure hundreds of other things. Which are probably lost forever do to my horrible memory.

So, what does this mean? I hope to bring my laptop on the train more and at least write occasionally about my adventures. Whether they be for myself, a few close friends, or everyone. That's the goal and purpose of this journal. Keep those who are far away updated on what I'm doing and keep my memory written down somewhere. Cause lords knows if can't actually write them down, I would never read my handwriting in 10 years, let alone 10 minutes. And my brain works faster then my hand writes.

Yes my brain works, I just try not to advertise it.



EDIT: I just figured out the setting. Thank god, that would piss me off otherwise.
