Soo...yeah.

I realize I never post unless I'm complaining or sick. Well I guess I'm kinda sick. I pulled a muscle in my back last night. Badly. I couldn't sleep last night because of it. I couldn't get out of bed to go to work this morning. And after making a slightly painful trip to the local Acute Care center, I am the proud owner of Tylenol w/codeine, Motrin 800 and Flexeril. Oh and they gave me a shot (they told me the name at least 2 times and I don't remember what it was). They also took a pregnancy test and it was negative (yay!!!) but they had to do that before they gave me the shot.

All this because I bent over to get something out of my bag. I wasn't even trying to pick it up. I tried to bend over twice, got a twinge of pain. Then decided to squat (they say bend with your knees) and that's when the pain erupted from my back. I've pretty much been immobile since.

So, I was woken up by takaza, who happen to have duncandahusky on the line with him, calling to see how I was doing. It wsa then that Duncan (who happened to be in the area for an interview) offered to swing by and take me to the local Acute care center. Thanks to him not only did I get to the doctor today, but we stopped and got food and he took me to get my meds. I'm extremely lucky to have the friends that I have. thanks hon (sorry I didn't mention this in my orginal posting I'm on drugs)

And per my doctor, I can not go back to work til Thursday. Now other then the complete pain I'm in, I miss two days of work on this check. My check has been short for one reason or another for the last couple checks and I don't have sick days. Ah, well. I'm off to be in pain now.
