Just cause I can. I so would rather be in bed, I do hate mornings. Especially lately when it doesn't seem that I actually sleep anymore. I lay there, out of it for the number of hours I can. I could be paranoid, but I wonder what’s wrong. Maybe I'll start by running about the hours with a little sage. It seemed to start just out of no where. And I thought getting the better mattress and box spring would hell. Phooey. Ah well off to put clothes on and trudge off to work. Lets hope I can stay awake today. So what's it like to not be tired all day everyday no matter how much sleep you get?

Oh, new icon. Why? Cause I could and Terry rocks!

So, I've done so much and haven't even tried to journal any of it. Friday I went (dragging Foxworth along) to see Hedwig as performed by Midnight Radio (better known for their wonderful RHPS performances). I've seen the movie before, Jay had not. I understand some aren't huge fans of the Rocky style show and he was mostly uninterested in going, especially after hearing it was gonna be done 'Rocky Style'. After some nudging he agreed. Picked him up about 11 or so and headed the OH SO long trip over to the Music Box. Parking was a synch. We went ahead and grabbed out tickets and headed out for a smoke (yeah yeah yeah). Osiris showed shortly after we got back inside. We were eventually let in the theatre (apparently later then expected) and were treated with a wonderful song one of the cast members wrote 'Hedwig Robinson' tuned to, you guessed it, Hey Mrs. Robinson. Was extremely entertaining. The show was fun. Couple cast mishaps, which included a tumble turning the opening song and well as SEVERAL costuming problems. All in all it was quite entertaining and even Jay seemed to enjoy the 'musical'. I offered Osiris a ride home and headed outside to find it had begun snowing (you'd think I'd be sick of seeing it :D) We stopped by Clark's on (Belmont I believe) for some taste last night food, ran our mouths a good long time and headed out to take Osiris home. Jay and I got back to The Coon's about 5 or so. Linnaeus actually came home from work shortly after. We all sat running our mouths (no I never stop talking) til about 6:30 and crashed. I got up about 10:15 to wake the coon and crashed back out on the couch. (YES all I do is sleep and talk. Yes I talk in my sleep). Was woken again by Misti to make plans for that night. Was given much grief about still being sleep. Set my alarm on my phone for 1:30 and crashed back out. You know, I found I can make it from Chicago to Kenosha in 1 hour? Yeah I left later then I'd planned, but managed to get to Misti's on time anyway.

Ok. So. Misti and I get ready and managed to leave 30 minutes late. We got to Jefferson in record time. When all was said and done, it was about 7:15 when we settled in our seats. Seats for what you might ask? Well Gaelic Storm that is. Unlike Misti, I haven't been able to go to every other show they've had locally the last week. This was my only chance til March. I was unsure of the crowd tho. I'm used to GS at Irish Fest drunkin folks hopping and dancing. This was 80% older people (like 50 and better) in suits and looking, well, boring. It started slow, I think we were annoying everyone around us. I didn't sit still for one hot second. I can't. It's like someone telling you you have to sit and be quick at a WWE wrestling match. Not gonna happen. Lucky for us there was a rather large crowd of high school kids from Mt Prospect IL in attendance. They had had some kind of 'thing' in the area and decided to attend. They knocked it up a few steps for the rest of us. Other then the overly energetic teens the most entertaining thing had to be...well I don't know how to phrase this, when the song would take a funny twist. Like in Go Home Girl the line is 'I am 22 years old and you, your only 8' the audience reaction is priceless. Or when they clap for a song that's not over. :) It was a really nice long show. I picked up a couple shirts, since they had them in my size, and a flask. :9 Got autographs and just hung out. We headed out to get food and wait for a call. After food we tried hard to find a bar still open. What Wisconsin makes the booze but never stays open late enough to sell it?! So it was about 4 when we got back to Misti. I had been extremely tired getting there, but decided to head home. Misti was going to another concert Sunday night and I figured it was just be easier. I was surprisingly awake the whole drive. Took little caffeine or nicotine to do it too. Got home and sat and puddle around online. I decided it was time to head to bed when Duncan got online. Yeah, I think it's bed time. Was about 7 am when I actually hit the sack. I got up around 3 and did little else the rest of the day. But that's fine, everyone needs a down day.

This week looks to be fairly slow. I had dinner at the In-Laws Monday, no meeting this Tuesday and dinner at my mom's Wednesday. Other then the online MFF staff meeting Sunday it looks to be slow for the weekend too. wow. You think I'll get anything done around here? Nah...
