525,600 minutes

All I have to say is...I can't believe I never fucking saw the stage production.

Fantastic fucking show. The movie was incredible and I'm sure the stage production is as well. It was profound and beautiful and well, it was a musical so I was bound to like it.

And if you haven't figured it out by now, I saw Rent today. I LOVED it and it will be mine. The soundtrack already is. :)

Now sleep, for I have to work tomorrow.

Did you get the film soundtrack or the Broadway soundtrack?

Rent = Love. I have been DYING to see the stage production. And now that I've seen the movie, I only wish I'd seen this cast when they were doing it on Broadway. Regardless, I -WILL- be seeing Rent on stage sometime, hopefully soon.

I can burn a copy of the Broadway soundtrack of Rent if you want it. I was lucky enough to see the stage show. I'll see the movie as well, but didn't feel up to it after working the Friday gift grab for 11 hours.

I'd kill to raid the stage show, if it weren't in an indefinite engagement at ONE SINGLE THEATRE in NYC proper.

Spirits, yes! Saw it yesterday and was blown away. Want the soundtrack, and am definitely getting the DVD when it comes out. This has joined Chess, Hair, Man Of La Mancha, and Jesus Christ Superstar in my top 5 favorite musicals, and it has entered at #3 moving Hair and La Mancha down to 4 and 5 on the list.

Was also very pleasantly surprised by Jessle L. Martin. I didn't think he would have such a beautiful voice, and it was fun to see "Detective Ed Green" kissing another man :)

The cast was wonderful, and completely believable. The coreography rocked, especially on Santa Fe in the train car, and La Vie Boheme in the cafe. Definitely one to watch (and listen to) over and over again.
