The winds of my life
So, I was suppose to get to Windy Con Friday night. Got home, had dinner, packed my bags up and jumped into the car. The starter that has been going, went. The key wouldn't even turn. I beat it up for awhile. Posi beat it up for awhile. I went back up to the apartment and drowned my sorrows in The Sims . emrldgirrl saying to pack my shit and be ready to go, told her I couldn't. Since I was so late I had to stay home, I had a early morning and long day with the in-laws. Blah. After only minor pouting, I told her I'd see her the next day (hopefully).
Saturday, day, was spent with the in-laws in China Town. Went to the wonderful restaurant The Phoenix. They serve Dim Sum on the weekends and god damn I was still full when I got to con..
Yes I made it to con.tybis happened to call Posi on the way home from the city and was talked into picking us up and dropping me at the hotel. Once at the hotel much drinking was done, tho I got a single cruise around the parties and then was called to a previously planned meeting with some friends. Didn't really get back out and about much til most of the parties had shut down. But a good time was had. A Very good time indeed.
I hit the dealers room for a few Sunday, didn't find much other then at Darlene's table (she's the one with the neat ear cuffs and the hoop dangles, she's also the local button lady) she's always at the local sci fi cons. She's also the one I got my Brent Spiner (mmmmmm :9) autograph from. Hung out for a little while tilmoryssa showed to pick me up and headed off to a meeting I felt no need to be at since I have no ability to help with any shit that needed to be done.
The next week and half will be busy. The Friday and Saturday I have Carbon Leaf!!!! And the last MFF meeting. Then by mid next week I'll be full into con activities. AHHHHHHHH!!! Ok, I feel better. Must go to bed now.
