And then there was con...
Ah twas a long weekend. Everything seemed to go really well. And staff didn't sleep. Normal con? Absolutely. I got there Wednesday night and left Monday afternoon. I'd like not to see that hotel, for say one more year. :D
Other things in my life, as many of you probably know, we have new family members. Recall and Falstaff (No we did not name them ourselves), joined our family of 2 rats, Spike and Angel, and one other resident kitty, Buddy, about 2 weeks ago. They are so sweet and are very cuddly. Having spent so much time in a common room at the shelter helped them to adjust to the new kitty at home. Now the kitty at home wasn't so happy to have the new members, but seems to have mellowed a lot.
Oh, and I got laid off again. 3rd time in less 2 years. I have said before that if it happens again, that I would go back to school full time. I think I'm going to start checking into that. Somewhere my life is not on the right track and I need to get it there, cause these big fat glowing hints are getting old. If I get a job by January I will just go to school at night. If I don't I will go to school full time and get a job in the lap at the college. Like will be interesting from here out.
Oh and it's snowing out. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Plus I get to spend the day with Duncan and Takaza. Yay!!!! Like is having one of those moments of good. :D
