Because we didn't get there until 8, and then left at 12:30, and had a 2 hour drive to get home so that she could get up and be at her mom's by 9? And because I didn't know we had an invite. :p
And yeah... felt really old, fat, and ugly. I've never in all my life seen so many "beautiful people" in skimpy little tank tops. Good thing I was there because I love the music and not because I was trying to impress the band, eh?
